Early
in our development as an organization, we, like most accountants, concentrated
on the compliance needs and only occasionally offered suggestions for operational
or strategic issues. But clients needed more than that. They needed someone
who would challenge them to make their businesses better and to think with
them about ways to do so. They also needed to know that they had a strong
and capable ally standing next to them when they would have to face monumental
opportunities, or the life changing crises that would be sure to come.
